Chicago Black Social Cultural Map Panel

CCBF is having their annual fundraising gala on Nov 19th (7-7:50 pm CST) and are partnering with CBSCM to co-host a version of the dance panel we did back in June. For this event, artists will short presentations/demos of various Black social dance forms/practices followed by a conversation about the relationship between dance/movement and liberation as well as thinking about the importance of cultural resistance and culture keeping through these Black social dance forms. These are our panelists who will be a part of the event! There will be a live stream of the panel available for viewing that will be launched the day of the panel.
